Job summary

Concord Academy in Concord, MA, seeks an Advancement Services & Database Specialist to manage end-to-end gift processing, donor data, and database administration in the Advancement and Engagement Office.

Reporting to the Director of Advancement Services, you will ensure accurate recording of gifts, reconcile with the General Ledger, support data migrations from Raiser's Edge to RE NXT, and provide timely donor communications.

Qualifications

• Experience with gift accounting, records management, and database operations.
• Database software proficiency and ability to learn complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily gift accounting in Raiser's Edge (cash, checks, cards, wires, securities, recurring gifts, matching gifts, payroll deductions).
• Perform weekly/monthly reconciliations with General Ledger.
• Record pledges, manage balances, and generate reminders.
• Generate donor tax receipts and acknowledgments.
• Maintain gift files and ensure cash handling compliance.
• Provide donor support and respond to inquiries.
• Update constituent records and ensure data quality and privacy.
• Lead data hygiene efforts and regular audits in RE to ensure accuracy.
• Support migration from RE DB View to RE NXT WebView and related documentation.
• Build queries, exports, lists, and reports for Advancement.
• Execute data imports and global updates.
