Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) for GI Endoscopy. The role delivers direct patient care, patient education, and post-anesthesia monitoring in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include focused history, patient assessment, education for procedures, and collaboration with physicians and nurses. A BSN is preferred; an RN license is required and ACLS training is expected within a few months.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience required.
• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program (ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accred.).
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• ACLS certification within 3–6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and education in outpatient GI/endoscopy.
• Cross-cover as patient needs dictate.
• Coordinate care with MD and healthcare team; monitor patients post-anesthesia.
• Interpret ECG rhythms as part of daily practice.
