The Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse for ambulatory GI/endoscopy in Minnesota. You will provide direct patient care in outpatient settings, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires a current RN license, at least one year of RN experience, and ability to work flexible hours. ACLS within 3–6 months and potential sponsorship apply.

Competenze

• One year of RN experience required.
• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program or equivalent; BSN preferred.
• If graduated from a nursing program not accredited by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA, at least one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is required.
• Additional Qualifications: ICU/PCU, ER, PACU and ECG interpretation experience preferred; BSN preferred.
• License and Certification: Current RN license by state; BLS required; ability to obtain state licensure and visa qualifications as needed.

Mansioni

• Deliver direct patient care in the outpatient GI Endoscopy setting.
• Provide patient education for endoscopic procedures and review medical history and allergies.
• Monitor patients post-anesthesia and ensure discharge criteria are met.
• Collaborate with MD and health-care team to provide best care; cross-cover as needed.
• Demonstrate leadership, communication, and critical thinking; manage multiple tasks and computer applications.
