Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) for GI Endoscopy with a strong focus on patient education and high-quality care. You will deliver direct outpatient nursing care, perform focused histories, monitor post-anesthesia recovery, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure smooth patient transitions.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience required.
• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program; if not ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited, at least one year RN experience in Mayo Clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in outpatient setting and educate patients.
• Cross-cover in GI Endoscopy as needed.
• Conduct pre-procedure history and assess patients; review meds and allergies.
• Assist in recovery with post-anesthesia monitoring and discharge readiness.
• Coordinate with MD and healthcare team to provide best patient care.
