Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is hiring an Ambulatory Care RN to deliver direct patient care in the outpatient GI Endoscopy setting. You will educate patients, assess histories, monitor post-anesthesia, and collaborate with the medical team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

ACLS certification is expected within 3–6 months; TN sponsorship is available for eligible applicants. New graduates may apply through the Nurse Residency Program; experienced RNs are encouraged to join a fast-paced environment

Competenze

• One year of RN experience required.
• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program (ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA) or equivalent.
• If not ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA-accredited, at least one year RN experience in Mayo Clinic setting or one year LPN experience.
• BSN preferred.
• ICU/PCU/ER/PACU and ECG interpretation experience preferred.
• Computer skills and EMR experience required.

Mansioni

• Deliver direct patient care in outpatient GI Endoscopy setting.
• Care for adult patients; cross-cover if needed.
• Complete focused history and patient assessment prior to endoscopy; educate on procedures.
• Monitor post-anesthesia recovery and continue physiological monitoring until discharge criteria are met.
• Collaborate with MD and healthcare team to provide best possible care.
• ACLS certification within first 3–6 months of employment.
