Job summary

Rubrik is seeking experienced Sales Engineers to guide regional sales teams in delivering Rubrik’s Cyber Resilience, Observability, and Remediation solutions. You will evangelize, position, and architect Rubrik’s offerings for a targeted set of customers across the UKI region.

You will drive technical programs, lead demonstrations, and act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal staff while coordinating with partners and the broader sales team.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of sales engineering experience, preferably in software or data center environments.
• Driven with a hands-on, can-do attitude and high energy.
• Breadth of knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic and resourcefulness.
• Thrives in fast-paced settings with multiple demos/calls and rapid follow-up.
• Strong business acumen and experience communicating with CxO level personnel.
• Smart, adaptable, and open-minded.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership to customers and internal staff in developing fully integrated technology solutions for pre-sales in the assigned market.
• Assists in the analysis, design and development of integrated technology solutions.
• Demonstrates technical leadership and SME on Rubrik’s products, architectures, file systems, and storage offerings in the SAN space.
• Acts as a technical expert and consultant to develop solutions meeting customers’ technology and business requirements.
• Delivers technical and sales presentations to customer technical staff and senior management.
• Serves as a trusted technology advisor to customers and internal resources on technical issues or business applications.
• Builds relationships with account teams, partners, and customers to support sales objectives; leverages resources as needed.
• Leads technical sales calls and qualifies opportunities based on customer requirements, competition, decision making, and funding.
