Job summary

UHA University Health Associates seeks an Advanced Practice Professional (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide coordinated palliative and geriatric care in inpatient and outpatient settings in Morgantown, WV. The role requires strong clinical skills, APRN/PA credentials, and WV licensure eligibility, with opportunities to teach residents and students.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by APRN Certification Center(s).
• Licensure or eligibility for RN and APRN in WV.
• BLS certification with ACLS as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive and individualized care for palliative patients and families.
• Complete assessments, consults, and evaluations.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up testing.
• Document care plans and outcomes clearly in medical records.

Education

CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing

National APRN certification

West Virginia RN/APRN licensure

BLS certification

ACLS training (discretion of department)

Bachelor’s or Master’s in PA (PA track)

ARC-PA PA program graduate

NCCPA certification

West Virginia PA license or eligibility
