Job summary

University Health Associates in Morgantown, WV is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional to manage family medicine patients in ambulatory settings. The role coordinates specialty involvement, directs care plans, and participates in resident and student education. Requires NP/PA credentials, WV licensure, and BLS/ALS.

The APP will perform diagnostic procedures, coordinate tests, and contribute to follow-up planning with the clinical team. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in West Virginia.
• BLS Certification required with additional Advanced Life Support training at the discretion of the department.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive and individualized care for family medicine patients.
• Completes consults, pre-procedure evaluations, and wellness visits.
• Communicates results and coordinates follow-up with the care team.
• Develops a comprehensive plan of care and coordinates referrals to other professionals.
