Job summary

UHA University Health Associates is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Professional specializing in Gynecologic Oncology to join the inpatient and ambulatory teams in Morgantown, WV. The APP will perform comprehensive evaluations, coordinate education and psychosocial needs, and participate in discharge planning alongside physicians, nurses, and other staff.

Qualifications

Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
Licensure or eligibility for licensure as RN and APRN in West Virginia.
American Heart Association BLS Certification required; ACLS as needed.
APRNs must have RNFA certification from an AORN approved program.

Responsibilities

Manages comprehensive and individualized care for Gynecology/Oncology patients.
Participates in daily rounds, consults, peri‑procedural evaluations, and first assist as applicable.
Performs diagnostic tests and coordinates follow‑up and discharge planning.
Documents plans of care and outcomes in the medical record with SOP compliance.
