Job summary

University Health Associates in Morgantown, WV seeks Advanced Practice Professionals to deliver comprehensive family medicine care in ambulatory settings. The APP coordinates with specialty teams to create individualized care plans and educate residents and students as part of the clinical team.

Applicants should have an APRN or PA background with required state licensures, BLS, and program accreditation. Eligible new graduates are welcome to apply for either family medicine NP or PA pathways.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from CCNE-accredited program and national APRN certification.
• Licensure or eligibility as RN/APRN in West Virginia; BLS with ACLS as required by department.
• PA candidates must have arc-PA approved PA program, NCCPA certification, WV licensure.
• Eligible new graduates accepted for both NP and PA tracks.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive and individualized family medicine care in ambulatory setting.
• Coordinate with medical teams and follow established guidelines for patient care.
• Order tests and referrals; communicate results to the care team.
• Provide education to residents, students, and staff; participate in quality improvement.
