Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in West Virginia (RN/APRN).
• BLS Certification required with potential ACLS training at department discretion.
• ARC-PA approved PA training program and NCCPA certification for PA path.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive geriatric and palliative care plans for patients.
• Coordinates inpatient and outpatient care with medical and nursing teams.
• Performs and documents clinical evaluations and tests per guidelines.
• Educates residents and medical/nursing students and participates in teaching.
• Ensures care planning aligns with policy, guidelines, and follow-up.
