Job summary

Curana Health is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to deliver high-quality geriatric psychiatric care across SNFs, LTCs, ALs and IL communities. Qualifications

• PMHNP certification required (ANCC).
• Current DEA license is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient rounds and manage psychiatric care in SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings.
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and facility staff.
• Evaluate residents’ mental health, perform exams, and collect medical histories.
• Order and interpret labs, diagnose, and create treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and administer treatments; provide injections as needed.
• Educate patients and families on medications and care plans.
