Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PMHNP program with ANCC certification.
• Active DEA license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Current state NP license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient rounds and manage psychiatric care in SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings.
• Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and facilities to ensure integrated care.
• Assess and manage mental health needs, including exams and histories.
• Order tests, interpret results, and develop treatment plans with the team.
• Prescribe medications/treatments and provide patient education.
