Job summary

Curana Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality psychiatric care across SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ongoing patient evaluation, and developing individualized treatment plans.

You will travel between facilities, provide medication management, and educate patients and families while contributing to a supportive work-life balance and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and ANCC PMHNP certification.
• Active DEA license.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient rounds and manage psychiatric care in SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and facility staff for coordinated care.
• Assess and manage residents' mental health needs; perform exams and histories.
• Order and interpret tests; develop therapeutic plans for mental and physical health.
• Prescribe and administer medications; provide injections as needed.
• Educate patients and families on medications and care plans.
