Job summary

Curana Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to deliver high-quality geriatric psychiatric care across SNF, LTC, AL, and IL communities. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care, and travel to multiple facilities as required.

The role emphasizes compassionate, comprehensive psychiatric services and improving outcomes for older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Graduation from PMHNP program and ANCC certification required.
• Active DEA license and state NP license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rounds and manage psychiatric care across SNF, LTC, AL, IL settings.
• Coordinate care with attending physicians, specialists and facility staff.
• Assess and manage residents' mental health needs and histories.
• Order and interpret tests and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe and administer medications and injections as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and prevention.
