Curana Health is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our expanding team and provide high-quality mental health services across SNF, LTC, AL, and IL communities. Qualifications

• Must have graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and ANCC certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Active DEA license is required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Psychiatric care and rounding in SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings.
• Collaborative care coordination with attending physicians, consulting specialists, referral sources, and facility staff.
• Patient evaluation and management of residents’ mental health, including physical exams and histories.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostics; develop therapeutic care plans for mental and physical health.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments; provide injections as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on medications, care plans, and preventive mental health practices.
• Address acute psychiatric and medical needs in collaboration with physicians and facility teams.
