Job summary

Curana Health seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to deliver high-quality geriatric psychiatric care across SNF, LTC, AL, and IL communities. You will join a multidisciplinary team, shaping continuity of care for older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings.

You will collaborate with physicians, coordinate care, and manage medications, exams, and patient education while supporting a mission-driven culture focused on dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• PMHNP board certification and ANCC credential.
• Active DEA license to prescribe controlled substances.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Current licensed PMHNP in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care in SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings.
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and facility staff.
• Evaluate residents' mental health, perform exams, and obtain histories.
• Order and interpret tests; develop treatment plans for mental and physical health.
• Prescribe medications and provide necessary injections and therapies.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and medications.
