Job summary

Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with PMHNP certification.
- Active DEA license and current state NP license.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient rounds and manage psychiatric care in SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and facility staff for coordinated care.
- Evaluate and manage residents' mental health needs; perform exams and histories.
- Order tests, interpret results, and develop treatment plans for mental and physical health.
- Prescribe medications and provide injections; educate patients and families.
- Coordinate acute care with physicians and facility teams.
