Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PMHNP program and ANCC PMHNP certification.
• Active DEA license.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Current NP license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric rounds across SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings.
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and facility staff.
• Assess and manage residents' mental health needs; perform exams and histories.
• Order/interpret labs and tests; develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and administer injections as needed.
• Educate patients and families on medications and care plans.
• Collaborate with care teams to address acute psychiatric and medical needs.
