Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the PCP team in delivering compassionate primary care to seniors. You will greet and room patients, collect vitals, and assist with routine testing during visits.

You will document patient information, communicate changes to clinicians, and help manage calls and messages to optimize clinic efficiency. Prior experience with EClinical Works EMR is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training required.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months phlebotomy experience is highly desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Experience with EClinical Works or similar EMR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake with patients, record vital signs, and document medical history.
• Interact with patients to gather information and relay changes to PCP.
• Manage patient communications, including return calls and routing to team.
• Perform basic first aid including dressings and suture removal under supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and proper documentation.
• Provide health coaching and follow up with patients weekly.
