ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the primary care team. You will greet patients, room them, take vitals, and assist the PCP with routine procedures in a patient‑centered environment.

You will engage closely with diverse patient groups, perform basic clinical tasks, manage messages, and help with care coordination. This role emphasizes compassionate service, compliance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training.
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months' phlebotomy experience is highly desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinical Works or similar EMR experience.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Conduct intake with patients, measure vitals, obtain medical history, and conduct routine screenings.
• Engage with patients throughout visits and report changes to the PCP or specialists.
• Handle patient communications, return calls, and route information to physicians.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures, and perform basic first aid under supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and accurate documentation at all times.
• Provide health coaching and follow up with coached patients weekly.
