Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our primary care team and support PCPs in patient care. You will greet and room members, take vital signs, collect medical history, and perform routine screenings with a focus on patient experience.

The role includes assisting with diagnostic testing, coordinating care with physicians and specialists, and providing health coaching with follow-up calls. Knowledge of EMR systems and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinical Works or similar EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room ArchWell Health members, perform intake, record vital signs and medical history.
• Engage with patients to understand needs and report changes to PCP/specialists.
• Handle patient communications, route calls, and relay information to physicians.
• Change dressings and perform first aid procedures under supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and accurate documentation.
• Provide health coaching with follow-up calls.
