Palmetto Subacute Care Center in Florida is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to carry out therapy sessions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will help implement goals set by the OT and ensure activities align with patient care plans.

The role emphasizes timely documentation, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in long-term and geriatric settings.

Formación

• Must hold active COTA license/registration.
• Experience with geriatric/long-term care preferred.
• Proficient in patient documentation and progress notes.
• Strong collaboration with OT and other disciplines.
• Punctual, professional with strong patient service.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out best practice treatments under OT supervision.
• Provide treatment aligned with OT goals.
• Document patient progress weekly and timely.
• Collaborate with all disciplines for patient-centered care.
• Adhere to facility policies and schedules; report to Director of Rehabilitation.
