Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading healthcare organization in Lawrence, MA to recruit a Geriatric Primary Care Administrative Coordinator who greets patients and caregivers and keeps daily office operations running smoothly.

You will support scheduling, care coordination, preventive-care follow-up, and accurate documentation to allow clinicians to focus on high-quality care for older adults.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant training or certification preferred.
• Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required.
• Geriatric care experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm wellness visits, follow-ups, home visits, and transition-of-care appointments.
• Make reminder calls and send electronic notifications.
• Coordinate specialty referrals and help ensure timely appointments.
• Assist patients and caregivers with patient portal navigation.
• Monitor preventive-care gaps, including screenings and immunizations.
