AltaMed Health Services Corp. in Pico Rivera, CA seeks a Senior Care Clinical Therapist to provide psychosocial assessments and interventions for PACE participants and families.

The role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and may supervise MSW staff. Requirements include an LCSW in CA, 2+ years with elderly/disabled populations, a Master’s in Social Work, and bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with elderly or disabled adults and/or mental health/substance abuse populations.
• Master's degree in social work required.
• BLS/CPR certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish, depending on location.
• Experience providing individual psychotherapy or leading group therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments and interventions to PACE participants and families when appropriate.
• Consult with care teams about behavioral health issues and participant needs.
• Coordinate service delivery and treatment recommendations with the PACE multidisciplinary team and community agencies.
• May provide clinical supervision to license-seeking MSW staff.
