Job summary

Intertek Building & Construction is seeking a Regional Engineer – Geotechnical in Charlotte, NC to provide expert geotechnical support across a range of transportation and infrastructure projects. The role requires leading teams, preparing reports, and mentoring staff.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering, 10+ years of experience, and a North Carolina P.E. license or the ability to obtain one. Strong communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering is required.
10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
North Carolina P.E. license required or ability to obtain in-state/adjacent-state.

Responsibilities

Provide geotechnical engineering support on transportation and infrastructure projects.
Prepare and review geotechnical reports per project scope.
Lead and mentor staff; assign tasks and manage budgets/schedules.
Engage with clients, attend site meetings, and develop project opportunities.
