Intertek Building & Construction is seeking a Regional Engineer - Geotechnical in Cleveland, OH to provide geotechnical engineering support across multiple project types, including transportation and infrastructure. The role emphasizes independent evaluation, report preparation, and client interaction within a national team. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of geotechnical experience, ABET-accredited degrees (B.S.

and M.S.), and an Ohio P.E. license or ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an ABET-accredited program is required
• Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering is required
• 10+ years of geotechnical experience is required
• Ohio P.E. license or ability to obtain in-state/adjacent states is required
• Proficient in listed geotechnical software (GeoStudio, APILE, LPILE, GROUP, SHAFT, Plaxis, Midas, SLIDE, Settle3D, MSEW) and related tools

Responsabilités

• Provide geotechnical engineering support on diverse project types including transportation, infrastructure, and multi-family developments
• Prepare and review geotechnical reports per project scope
• Mentor and supervise staff, assign tasks, and manage project budgets/schedules
• Engage with clients, attend meetings, and develop new project opportunities
• Ensure safety practices and continuous quality improvement on projects
