Job summary

Intertek in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Regional Engineer - Geotechnical to lead geotechnical efforts on a variety of transportation, infrastructure and development projects. You will provide expert analysis, prepare reports, and mentor staff while coordinating with the Principal Consultant and client teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering plus a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering, 10+ years of experience, and a professional license or eligibility to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering and Master's in Geotechnical Engineering are required.
• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience required.
• Georgia P.E. license or ability to obtain in state of employment and adjacent states.

Responsibilities

• Provide geotechnical engineering support on transportation, infrastructure, and development projects.
• Conduct evaluations using standard geotechnical techniques and engineering judgment.
• Prepare and review geotechnical reports per specifications and scope.
• Assign work and mentor staff; coordinate with principal consultants and clients.
• Engage with clients, attend site meetings, and manage project communications.
• Ensure safety practices and policies are followed on all assignments.
