Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, seeks a Regional Engineer - Geotechnical for our Charlotte, NC office to lead geotechnical projects across transportation and infrastructure. This role offers responsibility for project scopes, budgets, and client communication.

Candidates should have an ABET-accredited Bachelor's and a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering, 10+ years of experience, NC P.E. license, and proficiency with GeoStudio, LPILE, Plaxis, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from ABET-accredited school and Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering required.
• 10+ years' experience required.
• North Carolina P.E. license required or ability to obtain in-state or adjacent states.
• Proficient in GeoStudio, APILE, LPILE, GROUP, SHAFT, Plaxis, Midas, SLIDE, Settle3D, and MSEW.

Responsabilités

• Provides geotechnical engineering support on multiple project types including transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Performs evaluations using standard geotechnical techniques and engineering judgment.
• Interprets lab and field test results to inform project decisions and recommendations.
• Prepares and reviews geotechnical reports according to project scope.
• Manages scope, budgets and schedules for tasks.
