Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Engineer to lead geotechnical, environmental, and civil projects from concept to completion. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, supervision, and delivering high-quality solutions for diverse clients.

The ideal candidate has strong technical background, leadership abilities, and the ability to manage complex projects while coordinating with clients and internal teams. On-site positions in multiple SC/NC locations are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in South Carolina or ability to obtain reciprocity where firm operates.
• Minimum 5-12 years of geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing with 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Knowledge of geotechnical design and construction requirements.
• Knowledge of geosynthetics.
• Apply advanced knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering principles to project design, analysis, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, designers, and field staff.
• Delegate tasks effectively and oversee the work of project team members to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling, and field data collection; assign soils laboratory testing.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong professional relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Monitor project progress and budgets, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
