Job summary

BLE is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our geotechnical group. This role leads planning, execution, and closure of environmental, geotechnical, and civil projects, with hands-on project engineering and a track record in managing complex assignments from concept to completion.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and PE license.
5–12 years in geotechnical engineering or materials testing with 3+ years in supervision.
Knowledge of geotechnical design, construction, and geosynthetics.
Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and geotechnical software.

Responsibilities

Mentor and lead junior engineers and field staff on projects.
Oversee project planning, execution, and closure.
Coordinate site investigations, drilling oversight, and data collection.
Prepare technical reports, calculations, and designs for site development and foundations.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
