Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
Licensed Professional Engineer in South Carolina or reciprocity possible.
5–12 years of geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing with 3+ years in supervision.
Knowledge of geotechnical design, construction requirements, and geosynthetics.
Experience applying civil/geotechnical engineering principles to project design and analysis.
Proficient with engineering software for design and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance and sampling.
Mentor junior engineers, designers, and field staff.
Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, drawings, and project docs.
Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and QA/QC procedures.
