Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking a Geotechnical/Structural Engineer to support design-build solutions and site assessments. You’ll perform analyses, review drawings, and collaborate with area managers and licensees to deliver technically sound RAP systems and geotechnical designs.

The role blends office work with field support, requiring strong communication, problem-solving, and project leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or higher required.
• Experience in geotechnical/structural design and analyses.
• Ability to read project documents and drawings.
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD and geotechnical software experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide project-specific technical guidance for Geopier design-build solutions.
• Collaborate with managers to perform engineering analyses and design reviews.
• Prepare or review calculations and establish direction on projects.
• Support RAP design reviews and slope stability analyses.
• Assist in troubleshooting construction and design challenges.
• Review and approve RAP and other system designs.
• Deliver technical presentations at internal and external meetings.
