Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) seeks a geotechnical/structural engineer with a strong client-facing orientation to evaluate opportunities, develop cost-effective solutions, and manage projects. The role involves coordinating with design centers, installers, and clients to ensure accurate delivery of GFC services and systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in geotechnical/structural engineering
• 1–3 years in customer facing role, preferably in construction or industrial services
• Ability to evaluate technical and commercial viability to add value to projects
• Demonstrate ability to create and manage business opportunities and drive proposals

Responsibilities

• Review project geotechnical and structural information to evaluate feasibility
• Develop cost effective geotechnical solutions using RAP systems
• Coordinate between design center, installers and client for accurate service delivery
• Cultivate relationships with engineering firms, DOTs, and construction companies
• Generate sales leads, manage key projects, and report status monthly
• Prepare proposals and work with estimators on RAP bids
• Implement strategies to close business and meet regional revenue goals
• Review and seal project design submittals and field reports, and manage close-out submittals
