Commercial Metals LTD in Davidson, NC seeks a Geotechnical Engineer to support Geopier design-build solutions, perform analyses, and review RAP systems. You will collaborate with Area Managers and licensee teams, prepare calculations, and help troubleshoot construction challenges while delivering technical presentations.

BS in Civil Engineering is required with preference for MS in geotechnical engineering and PE licensure.

Qualificações

• 2+ years in geotechnical/structural engineering.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics and loading.
• Ability to read and interpret project documents and drawings.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Plan, prioritize and drive deliverables to closure.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel/Outlook and internet.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and geotechnical software SLIDE, SLOPE-W, Settle 3D.

Responsabilidades

• Provide project-specific technical guidance with Area Managers and licensee teams.
• Collaborate with Area Managers for analyses and design reviews.
• Prepare or review calculations and establish direction with limited supervision.
• Support RAP designs with slope stability analyses and RAP review.
• Assist in troubleshooting construction challenges and design issues.
• Review and approve RAP and other system designs.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations at meetings/workshops.
