Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) seeks Field Engineers to assist engineers and technicians in the field, perform laboratory testing, and observe construction materials to ensure accurate data and reliable project outcomes. We welcome students and professionals in Civil, Geology, Geological Engineering or related fields to join across multiple locations.

Base pay is $28.00–$31.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package, ESOP, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, or related Engineering field.
• 0–3 years of experience in an engineering or science related field.
• EIT and PE preferred.
• Internship or previous work experience preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Field and Laboratory Work: conduct geotechnical field testing and related tasks.
• Prepare reports of field and laboratory work and site visits.
• Communicate with clients to determine project needs and ensure QA compliance.
• Assist in training less experienced personnel and maintain safety standards.
