Job summary

Exodigo is seeking a Director of Geotechnical Engineering to lead U.S. geotechnical standards, quality, and technical credibility. This senior role blends engineering leadership with customer engagement across infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate brings extensive geotechnical experience, strong DOT/ASCE familiarity, and the ability to translate market needs into product requirements. Travel about 25–40% is expected, with a remote/hybrid work model in the U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with geotechnical specialization; M.S. strongly preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience in U.S. civil infrastructure and/or construction.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in at least one U.S. state, with ability to obtain more.
• Experience drafting engineering requirement documents and translating market needs into user stories/acceptance criteria.
• Deep knowledge of DOT, ASCE standards; familiarity with ASTM and USACE geotechnical practice.
• Strong reading of geological, geotechnical, and civil reports; client-facing intuition.

Responsibilities

• Build industry trust by representing geotechnical expertise with owners, DOTs, contractors, and consultants.
• Lead technical discussions, presentations, and proposals with customers and Sales.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications and QA criteria.
• Review geotechnical deliverables and provide engineering sign-off.
• Collaborate with Product and R&D to align needs with capabilities.
• Standardize workflows with US Project Management, Operations, and CAD/BIM teams.
