Job summary

Exodigo is seeking a Director of Geotechnical Engineering to lead U.S. geotechnical engineering standards, quality, and technical credibility.

This senior role combines engineering leadership with customer engagement, helping infrastructure owners, contractors, and engineering consultants understand and trust Exodigo’s subsurface intelligence technology. The ideal candidate will partner with Sales, Product, R&D, Operations, and Project Management to translate engineering needs into product

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with geotechnical specialization; M.S. strongly preferred.
• 10–15 years of geotechnical engineering experience in U.S. civil infrastructure/construction.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in at least one U.S. state; ability to obtain additional licensure.
• Experience drafting engineering requirement documents and translating market needs into user stories/criteria.
• Deep knowledge of DOT/ASCE/AASHTO/FHWA standards; familiarity with ASTM/USACE geotechnical practice.

Responsibilities

• Build industry trust by communicating geotechnical value and limitations to owners, DOTs, contractors, and consultants.
• Lead technical discussions, presentations, and proposals with customers and Sales.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications, acceptance criteria, QA processes, and delivery practices.
• Review geotechnical deliverables and provide engineering sign-off authority.
• Collaborate with Product and R&D to align customer needs with product capabilities and priorities.
• Standardize workflows with Project Management, Operations, and CAD/BIM teams nationwide.
