CDM Smith in Florida is seeking a Senior Geotechnical/Civil Engineer to lead complex infrastructure design on dams, levees, reservoirs and deep foundations. You will own designs, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

You will collaborate with clients and project teams, review proposals, and contribute to technical papers while travel may be required. A PE and 10+ years' experience are expected, with flexibility for Florida offices.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Mining or Geologic Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering (PE) license.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Mansioni

• Creates excavation, dewatering, foundations, dams/reservoirs/levees, geo-environmental projects per client requirements.
• Reviews designs for compliance with regulations and signs off on completed designs.
• Mentors junior engineers and ensures design alignment with location specs.
• Reviews proposals for adherence to regulations and best practices.
• Meets with clients to review design needs and explores new opportunities.
