Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering is required.
• Master’s in Geotechnical or related field strongly preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assist with execution of geotechnical subsurface exploration programs.
• Classify soil and rock in field and lab settings.
• Observe earthwork and foundation construction to understand soil conditions.
• Prepare field reports and perform geotechnical analyses (slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, deep foundation design, seismic).
• Gather field data and samples; coordinate testing as needed.
• Support geotechnical teams at other locations as needed.
