GeoEngineers is seeking a Staff Geotechnical Engineer to lead field exploration and observation for earthwork and foundation construction across diverse projects. You will perform geotechnical analyses, prepare field reports, and contribute to design work such as bearing capacity, slope stability, settlement, deep foundations, and seismic evaluation, with opportunities to support teams elsewhere as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required; Master’s in Geotechnical or related field strongly preferred.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification required for Staff Engineers.
• Experience in geotechnical engineering preferred.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work within a team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for field exploration and observation of earthwork and foundation construction, on projects big and small.
• Responsible for preparing field reports and performing geotechnical analyses such as slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, deep foundation design, and seismic evaluation.
• Assists with gathering field data and field samples for related projects. Coordinates samples for testing as needed.
• May provide support to geotechnical teams at other locations as needed.
