Irby Construction Company is seeking a Regional Construction Manager for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. You will lead construction across multiple sites, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, permits, and documentation while optimizing labor, materials, and equipment. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in construction management, BESS or renewable energy experience, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Ten years of construction administration/management experience.
• Experience in BESS, electrical power, substations, or renewable energy.
• Knowledge of NEC, electrical codes, OSHA standards and safety practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, budgeting, and risk management skills.
• Willingness to travel and manage multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple BESS projects with civil, structural, electrical, controls and commissioning tasks.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure permits, inspections, and documentation.
• Manage schedules and budgets to meet time and cost targets.
• Report progress, risks and resource needs to senior management.
• Develop regional plans and budgets with senior leadership.
