Job summary

Fulgent Genetics is seeking a Genomics Sales Director to drive regional sales performance and strategic growth. You will partner with the Regional Vice President to develop and execute sales strategies, forecast performance, and manage territory profitability.

You will maintain customer relationships, forecast quotas, and stay informed about Fulgent’s services and capabilities. Travel up to 50% and field-based responsibilities are expected to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in life sciences (preferred).
• 1–2 years of successful clinical, diagnostics, or biotech sales experience.
• Verifiable sales accomplishments showing negotiation and customer-focus.
• Experience calling on Children’s Hospitals and academic institutions in rare diseases.
• Experience interacting with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Self-directed with strong work ethics and initiative.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in multicultural teams.
• Strong ownership skills and accountability for territory.
• Salesforce CRM competence.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent contact with customers, prospects and partners to ensure flow of new products and sales information.
• Develop and implement regional sales strategies and business plans.
• Forecast sales, analyze data and adjust tactics based on analytics.
• Educate customers on Fulgent's service menu and technologies; deliver presentations and product demos.
• Serve as field advisor to regional manager and own the territory as a franchisee would.
• Collaborate with marketing to generate content and opportunities for notes and web content.
