Job summary

Fulgent Genetics seeks a Genomics Sales Director to drive regional sales performance, forecast market trends, and execute strategic plans. You will own the territory with an entrepreneurial mindset, leveraging deep genomics knowledge and Salesforce analytics to optimize revenue and customer relationships.

You will mentor the sales team, coordinate with cross-functional partners, and communicate market insights for product enhancements and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in life sciences or related field.
• 1–2 years of clinical, diagnostics, or biotech sales experience.
• Sales experience in rare diseases, genetics, or genomics preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting sales goals and negotiating with customers.
• Experience calling on Children's Hospitals/academia in rare diseases is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across multicultural, geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact with customers, prospects, and partners to facilitate new product introductions and sales information.
• Develop and implement sales strategies; create a Regional Business Plan.
• Forecast sales, analyze market trends, and adjust tactics based on analytics.
• Manage region data in Salesforce CRM and complete required training.
• Grow regional profitability with strong ownership and entrepreneurial drive.
• Provide advisory input on sales strategy, market trends, and product improvements.
