Job summary

SeqMatic is seeking an Inside Technical Sales Specialist to join our commercial team in Fremont, CA. This full-time role involves daily outbound prospecting, nurturing and closing sales, and translating customers' technical and business needs into detailed quotes.

You will manage leads in CRM, pursue opportunities, and build long-term relationships after the sale. A strong genomics background and 1+ years in a life-science sales or support role are preferred; Illumina/10X knowledge is a plus;

Qualifications

• Strong Genomics and/or Molecular Biology background to understand NGS/omics applications vs. customer needs.
• 1+ years of experience in a Life Science sequencing laboratory, NGS sales role, technical support role, or related field with customer-facing experience.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of NGS methods, Illumina and/or 10X Genomics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hunter power: identify and contact existing and potential customers via email, phone, and V-meetings.
• Manage and qualify sales leads; understand customer pain points and the competitive landscape.
• Create quotations that match SeqMatic services to customer needs.
• Pursue and close sales orders; match quotes with purchase orders.
• Manage customer relationships post-sale and build long-term business relations.
• Provide timely technical updates and respond to inquiries; log activities in CRM.
