Job summary

PacBio is seeking a Sr. Genomic Sales Specialist to drive growth across East AMR with strategic technical selling and clinical market expertise. The role supports Territory Account Managers as an overlay, helping customers evaluate PacBio sequencing solutions in research and clinical workflows.

The successful candidate will have deep genomics knowledge, hands-on experience with clinical labs, and a proven sales record. Occasional travel and home-office setup within the territory are expected.

Qualifications

3+ years customer-facing sales in life sciences/genomics or related.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel ~50% and manage a home-based office within the territory.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Field Applications, Bioinformatics, Marketing and Product Management to remove technical barriers.
Develop relationships with laboratory directors, geneticists and other stakeholders.
Support customers through evaluations, workflow discussions, and implementation strategies.
Develop technical sales strategies to accelerate adoption across research, translational, and clinical markets.
Meet or exceed revenue targets for PacBio instrumentation and consumables in the defined territory.
