Job summary

Illumina is seeking an Inside Sales Representative/Sales Development Representative to join our proteomics sales team. The role involves cold calling, appointment setting, and nurturing inbound leads across the Americas, with CRM tracking in Salesforce.

You will support regional field sales, qualify leads, and drive target attainment. A Bachelor’s degree and B2B inside sales experience in healthcare/pharma are preferred, with MS Word/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• B2B virtual/inside sales experience strongly desired, preferably in healthcare/pharmaceutical sales.
• MS Word and Excel expertise.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cold calls and set appointments.
• Qualify inbound leads and maintain CRM records.
• Engage target accounts via email, calls and other tactics.
• Support regional field sales with lead research and smooth handover to reps.
• Plan daily KPIs and meet defined activity targets.
• Document outreach activities in Salesforce.
