Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field; 2+ years field service experience
• Willing to travel within Colorado and Wyoming
• Experience with optical alignments, robotics, electrical/electronics, and mechanical systems
• Familiarity with genomics, sequencing, and bioinformatics
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to operate independently or as a team
• Willingness to work in fast-paced environment, up to 50% travel

Responsibilities

• Interface between field organization and internal support to provide onsite technical assistance
• Demonstrates competence installing/upgrading/repairing/maintaining instrument systems
• Utilize and maintain service manuals, SOPs, and remote connectivity
• Provide technical support to customers, junior engineers, and contractors
• Coordinate and prioritize service requests to ensure first-time fix
• Maintain inventory levels and accuracy of service parts
• Collaborate with sales/marketing on system placements, leads, upgrades
• Build relationships with customers to ensure ongoing success
• Follow administrative rules and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrate knowledge in regulated environments
