Job summary

HALO Diagnostics is looking for a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing in Longmont, CO. This in-person role includes education, care coordination, and phlebotomy support within a multidisciplinary team.

You will ensure a seamless patient experience, accurate specimen collection, and timely communication while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high-quality care. The position offers stock options within HALO Dx.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front or back office).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing from start to finish.
• Educate patients on procedures, next steps, and testing options.
• Serve as primary patient contact, ensuring a supportive experience.
• Coordinate scheduling, testing workflows, and follow-ups.
• Perform venipuncture and handle specimen labeling and transport.
