Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics, HALO Dx in Glendora, CA, seeks a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) to guide patients through hereditary cancer testing. This full-time, in-person role supports education, coordination, and specimen collection while delivering compassionate patient experiences.

You will be the primary contact for patients and partner sites, manage scheduling, phlebotomy, and EMR documentation, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely testing and excellent

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front or back office).
• 2+ years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing journey from start to finish.
• Provide clear education on testing, procedures, and next steps.
• Serve as primary patient contact to ensure a supportive experience.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens for genetic testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
• Coordinate scheduling, follow-ups, and workflow with partner sites.
